A really interesting piece! For me, part of the beauty of film (and all forms of art) is that it both shapes and reflects culture. When we watch a movie from decades ago, we are given a unique window into that moment in time--both the good and the bad. I love how movies from the past give the opportunity for reflection and, hopefully, good conversations about our values, priorities, and how much has changed (or not changed).
