A very interesting article. I grew up watching The Breakfast Club and loved it, but never really bought those two romantic storylines.

It's so fascinating to revisit these older movies and see how our understanding of the world changes how we receive a film. Thanks for sharing this... you've given me a lot to think about and another excuse to watch this movie again.
