The fourth Small Axe film left me with a lot to ponder.
In this film, we meet Alex Wheatle (Sheyi Cole), a young man who has had a rough life. He was abandoned by his birth parents and raised in an abusive, white foster home. Alex Wheatle shares vignettes of his life, showing his journey to healing and discovering who he is.
