Great review! The mundane nature of this family is one of the things that makes this movie so disturbing. It's all so normal, so then that lead us to ask what horrific things are occurring today that we are overlooking? What is just behind our walls? Which isn't something that we'd be compelled to ask in a more "traditional" depiction of the Holocaust.
