Great review!

I was particularly surprised at how toned-down this film is. I thought it was going to be filled with over-the-top drama but, like you said, the film plays it cool. I think that's so smart to do in helping to keep the story focused on Priscilla, instead of on the drama. I also expected it to be a lot more negative about Elvis, making him an outright villain, but the film is restrained even in that regard. I think this was an impressive feat all around.
