I appreciate that you brought this up because it's something I think about often. And I think that you got it when you menioned that stereotypes shouldn't be the end. We're all more complex than the sterotypes about our race or culture and it'd be nice if our characters reflected the same.

Also, I haven't watched Kim's Convenience but it sounds like an entertaining show. I might have to check it out.
