I completely agree! I first watched Lynch's version of Dune and got the gist of the story, but was left feeling pretty confused. Then I watched Villeneuve's film and was amazed at how much I was able to understand, though I hadn't read the book.

I just finished the book a few weeks ago and watched Villeneuve's Dune again and was amazed at how much he managed to include, even if they were small nods here and there. Like you, I am excited for Part Two, but I'm so curious how he's going to be able to pull it off. There's so much material for him to cover but, if anyone can do it, I think he can.
