I definitely enjoyed this movie more than you did, but I can see where you're coming from. But I do agree that the best part of this movie comes when you lean into the ambiguity. In most courtroom dramas, we expect certainty, but this one moves in the opposite direction. That interesting pivot from the norm was so fascinating to me that I wanted to keep watching.
