I saw Uncut Gems in the theater before everything shut down and you're absolutely right! I think that it perfectly encapsulates the frenetic hopelessness and desperation we've felt in 2020. Every second of that movie stressed me out as I watched Howard dig himself further into a hole of his own making... much like what I've seen in America this year. What an apt observation!
