Thanks for sharing this! I was just talking to a friend about the fact that in my 20s I had the good salary, the money in the bank, and that upward mobility. But now, in my 30s, I don't have any of that. I'm bringing in a lot less money and have pretty much given up on the dream of owning my own home. Similar to you, I am not as worried about these things and can focus on more creative pursuits.
