Very interesting piece! I definitely started out without an appreciation for older, black and white films, but I have come to appreciate them over time. Today, some of my favorite films are classics, but I approach and appreciate them differently than I do more modern films. Sometimes, it almost feels like comparing apples and oranges because our worlds are so different, as is the technology we use and the stories we tell.
