What a beautiful analysis of this film! Based on everything I had seen online before watching this film, I expected to be a real man-hating "smash the patriarchy" film (which I'm not opposed to). But Barbie really does strike a lovely balance that's honoring and enjoyable for both men and women. What a tremendous feat!

Also, I really need to rewatch Legally Blonde, it's been too long!
