What a great piece! For years, I really discounted Superman for all of the reasons you listed here--he's too good, too powerful, etc.--but as I've grown older, I've come to appreciate him more. Particularly, the justice piece that you mentioned. And I love how you laid out that he's really three people and those sometimes contradict each other. He's a really complex character, it's a shame that's not always seen or appreciated.
